Did you know that it’s not only climate or the environment that can affect cannabis plants. Did you know that soil PH is an essential factor to growing a healthy plant. There is a certain PH that the cannabis plant can grow in a healthy way.
Before we continue, however, we need to understand what soil PH is. PH is a measure of how acidic or alkaline a substance is. Therefore, most people use a PH scale for these types of examinations. The scale is between 1-14; to be more specific, 1-7 is acidic and 1-14 is alkaline.
Now, why is PH so important for growing healthy cannabis plants? Just like humans plants require a lot of nutrients in order to be healthy. However, it is not quite the same with cannabis plants. When it comes to cannabis plants, they are able to take up their nutrients in a certain PH window, which is a range from 6-7. To be more specific, cannabis plants that usually grow in the wild are within acidic soil. Furthermore, if growers properly maintain the PH of the solid properly, they can produce better cannabis plants. Additionally, this minimizes nutrient deficiencies that can be further detected. If all of this is ignored, it will cause PH imbalances that lead to lack of nutrients. Therefore, it is essential that we make sure that our sweet cannabis plants are taken care of properly for better growth.
