What is distillate and why is it better?
For years, we all know that full-extracted CBD oil (Full Spectrum) is the best way to use CBD. The oil is made from the flower buds and leaves of the hemp plant using CO2 extraction – the best production available today! Distillate CBD (Distillate) is “new ghost”, so what is it and why is it better?
What is CBD Distillate?
Distillation is defined as:
Liquid cleaning operation by heating and / or cooling. Distillation is a process that produces concentrates that are “cleaner” than other concentrates in that they are pure on the molecular level.
Distillate is also one of the most powerful concentrates available today.
The hemp distillation process allows the extraction of cannabinoids in a pure, versatile and with unlimited potential for use.
Distillation uses heat to evaporate the cannabinoids. This vapor is then collected in the distillation cooling system. This helps to remove everything impurities from the cannabinoids, including the plant mantle and chlorophyll.
In turn, this results in a very pure, very concentrated liquid that is completely solvent free. The distilled product can then be incorporated into everything. The obvious benefit is that there is nothing in it except the desired cannabinoids.
There is a reason people in the hemp industry sometimes call CBD distillates quintessence. An almost pure product are cannabinoids.
Why is CBD Distillate better?
We already understand what hemp distillation is and how it is made. Then we can also imagine that not only CBD distillate can be distilled CBG, CBC, CBN, THC, THCV…. any cannabinoid from hemp or cannabis, in its purest and most concentrated form.
One great thing about the effectiveness of hemp distillates is that you can use less than other traditional CBD products to achieve the desired effect. So you don’t need to consume too much oil.
How to use CBD distilled from hemp?
This is one of the most comprehensive forms of cannabinoid extract, which is one reason why it is quickly becoming one of the most popular CBD products available today.
Here are a few different ways to use it.
Topical and cosmetic
CBD-based cosmetics and creams have become popular new markets. CBD (and THC) topical medications are therapy for local muscle pain and chronic pain areas associated with inflammation.
Just add distilled CBD product to a bit of coconut oil and you have a great foundation for making different CBD oils.
Vaping
CBD distillate is often used like other concentrates and consumed by vaporizing with a vape pen or e-cigarette.
Vaping CBD distilled for the fastest, most powerful effect, with almost immediate noticeable effects, it is virtually odorless, tasteless (unless it is flavored with something else).
Vaping CBD can also provide a quick, beneficial effect for people experiencing many serious health problems.
Food
Distilled CBD is a great addition to food and allows anyone to easily cook it with cannabinoids. Since the distillate has undergone carbonation (cannabinoid activation with heat) it is ready for use. And since it is virtually odorless and tasteless, your food won’t taste like hemp.
Hemp distillates make home preparation easier than ever. Just don’t forget to start off little by little. If you’re going to use distilled CBD in cooking, add it to your favorite foods in low doses (5mg or less) until you find the taste right for you.
