Countries around the world such as Thailand and the Netherlands are not the only countries that have decriminalized weed. There is a new country that has new laws in regards to the amazing plant. Mexico’s supreme court has decriminalised the private recreational use of cannabis, or weed, by adults (BBC,2021). According to the court, it was an 8-3 decision and this will now allow adults to grow and consume their own weed. However, smoking in public and having it in front of children is still prohibited. Furthermore, they are allowed to grow up to eight plants and are allowed to carry less than 5 grams in public.
